at Hansel Foundation is a social inclusion transition project for young people ages 16-25 with additional support needs. Fairway’s purpose is to provide an individualised and innovative approach to working with young people, supporting them in developing the confidence and skills they require to manage their own lives in a self-directive manner.

In reality, young adults with additional support needs are workers, customers, students, parents, taxpayers, voters, and community members. The purpose of any form of support should therefore be to enable people to overcome the practical barriers they face to participating in all of these roles and activities. Fairway aims for young adults with additional support needs, to have the right to choice, independence, and being included whilst having the opportunity to participate in employment, public life, and service delivery.
