PROFESSIONALS - FAIRWAY PACKAGE

Fairway comes as a package of support. This is because each area of activity supports areas requiring developing.

  • The social activity is designed to develop the all important social and communication skills we require to strike up conversations and interact with people in everyday life. It also supports the learning around budgeting, activity planning and dealing with every day issues we can come upon when out.
  • The improvised workshops back up the learning we do out on activities. Role playing these issues and realising the right and wrong way to do things. The workshops cover all issues from relationships, bullying, knowing your rights to planning your future and many more.
  • One to One facilitation supports you to develop skills in:

FAIRWAY -  Account of Activities

5 hours Group Activity - every week you will be invited out socially with a group of young adults that include volunteer Peer Mentors. The activities will be pre planned and chosen by you and your group at the meeting we hold after workshops.

4 hours 1:1 Facilitation – every week.  This is looking at your  needs and aspirations. From these areas we will support you to develop skills required where possible. The facilitator would also seek opportunities that are both meaningful and fulfilling to you aspirations and work along side you.

1hour Friendship Circle (circles require 6 hours support but only happens every six weeks), this is bringing together people you identify as your friends for a social activity. Here we are working towards developing skills to maintain friendships.

2 hour improvised workshop.  This is where we invite a professional theatre company in to teach you through role-play in dealing with everyday young adult situations. The Improvised workshop runs fortnightly on a Tuesday evening
