PROFESSIONALS - ADAPTABILITY

An important feature of the Fairway Model of Service is its adaptability to not only other areas of transition such as children’s services to adult services, but also to supporting and working with other socially excluded and disadvantaged client groups. Organisations providing support for the isolated elderly, young offenders, and looked after and accommodated children & young people to name just a few would benefit greatly from the unique approach taken by the Fairway model. The model could also be used as a supportive service provision for addiction services and mental health services.

Some organisations may choose to adopt only certain elements of this approach e.g. the use of Peer mentors only. Although here at Fairway we believe the use of all three approaches provides the best opportunity for optimal outcomes for our service users, we understand the needs and restraints of other organisations and agencies. We will work with you to determine what aspects of the model will suit your service users, your environment, and organisational resources.

The Fairway model has already been adopted by transitions services, disability services and befriending organisations providing support for people of all ages.
